HARRISON — Mid Michigan Community College will host a Criminal Justice Symposium to educate individuals about various law enforcement career opportunities. The symposium will be held on the college’s Harrison campus’ Michigan Room on April 25.
There will be two identical sessions open to the public at 9-10:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. Participating law enforcement organizations will present information about their jobs, missions, employment standards, and recruitment practices. After the presentations, attendees will have a chance to talk with representatives one-on-one.
The following are a few of the organizations that will be present:
• Michigan Department of Corrections
• Michigan Department of Natural Recourses
• Michigan State Police
• United States Probation Department
