FINDING NEMO 3D with Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould. After his son is captured in the Great Barrier Reef and taken to Sydney, a timid clownfish sets out on a journey to bring him home.

PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER with Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller. An introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome him to the real world.

RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION with Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Michelle Rodriguez. Alice fights alongside a resistance movement in the continuing battle against the Umbrella Corporation and the undead.

DREDD with Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey. In a violent, futuristic city where the police have the authority to act as judge, jury and executioner, a cop teams with a trainee to take down a gang that deals the reality-altering drug, SLO-MO.

HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET with Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue, Max Thieriot. A mother and daughter move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. When the daughter befriends the surviving son, she learns the story is far from over.

END OF WATCH with Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña, Anna Kendrick. A drama centered on the long-term friendship and partnership between two cops.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Andy Samberg. Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count’s teen-aged daughter.

LOOPER with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt. In the year 2042, a mob hitman assassinates targets that arrive from the future of 2072. For him it’s just a job… till he receives a new target: himself from the future.

TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE with Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and John Goodman. An ailing baseball scout in his twilight years takes his daughter along for one last recruiting trip.

WON’T BACK DOWN with Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Holly Hunter. Two determined mothers, one a teacher, look to transform their children’s failing inner city school. PERFECT PITCH with Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson. Beca, a freshman at Barton University, is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school’s all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition.

SINISTER with Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance, James Ransone. Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity.

TAKEN 2 with Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace. In Istanbul, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wife are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter.

ARGO with Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman. As the Iranian revolution reaches a boiling point, a CIA ‘exfiltration’ specialist concocts a risky plan to free six Americans who have found shelter at the home of the Canadian ambassador.

HERE COMES THE BOOM with Kevin James, Salma Hayek, Henry Winkler. A high school biology teacher moonlights as a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to save the school’s music program.

ALEX CROSS with Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox, Rachel Nichols. After Washington DC detective Alex Cross is told that a family member has been murdered, he vows to track down the killer. He soon discovers that she was not his first victim and that things are not what they seem.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4 with Katie Featherston, Brady Allen, Matt Shively. Katie and Hunter have something to do with the new next-door neighbors of a girl named Alice and her family, who since noticing the arrival of Katie and Hunter, begin experiencing weird phenomena occurring inside their house.

THE BIG WEDDING with Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl. A long-divorced couple fakes being married as their family unites for a wedding.

CLOUD ATLAS with Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant. An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.

FUN SIZE with Victoria Justice, Johnny Knoxville, Chelsea Handler. When a troubled but whip-smart teen girl loses her oddball little brother on Halloween, she has one desperate night to track him down.

SILENT HILL: REVELATION with Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell, Carrie-Anne Moss. Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand, Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.

THE MASTER with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams. A 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as “the Master” whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man.

FLIGHT with Denzel Washington, Melissa Leo, Don Cheadle. An airline pilot saves a flight from crashing, but an investigation into the malfunctions reveals something troubling.

THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS with Russel Crowe, Cung Lee, Lucy Liu. In feudal China, a blacksmith who makes weapons for a small village is put in the position where he must defend himself and his fellow villagers.

WRECK-IT RALPH with John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch. The bad-guy character in a classic game who longs to be a hero brings trouble to his entire arcade after sneaking into a new first-person shooter game and unleashing a deadly enemy.

SKYFALL with Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem. Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN, PART 2 with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner. After the birth of Renesmee, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi.

LIFE OF PI with Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Tobey Maguire. The story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper’s son who finds himself in the company of a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck sets them adrift in the Pacific Ocean.

RED DAWN with Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, Josh Hutcherson. A group of teenagers look to save their town from an invasion of North Korean soldiers.

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS with Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher. When the evil spirit Pitch launches an assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world.

THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK with Bradley Cooper, Julia Stiles, Robert De Niro. After spending four years in a mental institution, a former teacher moves back in with his mother and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife.

HYDE PARK ON HUDSON with Bill Murray, Laura Linney, Olivia Williams. The story of the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

PLAYING FOR KEEPS with Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Dennis Quaid. A former professional athlete with a weak past tries to redeem himself by coaching his son’s soccer team, only to find himself unable to resist when in scoring position with his players’ restless and gorgeous moms.

Opening Friday, Dec. 14

THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY with Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage. A curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug.

LES MISéRABLES with Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway. An adaptation of the successful stage musical based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel set in 19th-century France, in which a paroled prisoner named Jean Valjean seeks redemption.

MONSTERS, INC. with Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Mary Gibbs. Monsters generate their city’s power by scaring children, but they are terribly afraid themselves of being contaminated by children, so when one enters Monstropolis, top scarer Sulley finds his world disrupted.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL: WORLDS AWAY with Erica Linz, Sophia Elisabeth, Dallas Barnett. An original story featuring performances by Cirque du Soleil.

JACK REACHER with Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall. A homicide investigator digs deeper into a case involving a trained military sniper who shot five random victims. Based on a book in Lee Child’s crime series.

THE IMPOSSIBLE with Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland. An account of a family caught, with tens of thousands of strangers, in the mayhem of one of the worst natural catastrophes of our time.

THIS IS 40 with Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Jason Segel. A look at the lives of Pete and Debbie a few years after the events of Knocked Up.
Opening Friday, Dec. 25

DJANGO UNCHAINED with Jamie Foxx, Don Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprio. With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.

THE GUILT TRIP with Seth Rogen, Barbra Streisand, Adam Scott. An inventor and his mom hit the road together so he can sell his latest invention.

PARENTAL GUIDANCE with Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei. When his daughter goes away for work, a grandfather finds himself having to take care of his three grandkids using 21st century methods — though he soon resorts to an old-school style of parenting.
