Dinsdale has attended numerous photography courses over the last 30 years, at places such as the Center for Creative Studies, Henry Ford College, and has participated in many hands-on seminars with well known photographers such as Monet Nagler and Rod Planck.
Dinsdale shoots nature photography digitally and produces high quality and long-lasting images. He processes, mats and frames all of his work, as well as printing images on canvas. He has also transferred his images to tumbled marble, cutting boards, and note card collections.
“I believe in continually increasing my knowledge in the education of photography. But more than anything, I think experience is my best way to improve my art. I am attracted to bright colors and the small details in nature that many people seem to simply walk by unnoticed. I try to make others see the intricate detail in the beauty of nature,” Dinsdale said.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information on Dinsdale and his work, call Art Reach at (989) 773-3689 or visit the website at www.artreachcenter.org.
