Opening Friday, Jan. 4

CelebrationCinemaTEXAS CHAINSAW 3D with Alexandra Daddario, Tanya Raymonde, Scott Eastwood. A young woman travels to Texas to collect an inheritance.  Little does she know, an encounter with a chainsaw-wielding killer is part of the reward.

PROMISED LAND with Matt Damon, Frances McDormand, John Krasinski.  A salesman for a natural gas company experiences life-changing events after arriving in a small town, where his corporation wants to tap into the available resources.

HYDE PARK ON HUDSON with Bill Murray, Laura Linney, Olivia Williams. The story of the love affair between FDR and his distant cousin Margaret Stuckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

Opening Friday, Jan. 11

GANGSTER SQUAD with Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone. A chronicle of the LAPD’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and ‘50s.

A HAUNTED HOUSE with Marlon Wayans, Nick Swardson, Alanna Ubach. Malcolm and Kisha move into their dream home, but soon learn a demon also resides there. When Kisha becomes possessed, Malcolm – determined to keep his sex life on track – turns to a priest, a psychic, and a team of ghost-busters for help.

Opening Friday, Jan. 18

BROKEN CITY with Mark Wahlberg, Russell Crowe, Catherine Zeta-Jones. An ex-cop trailing the wife of New York City’s mayor finds himself immersed in a larger scandal.

THE LAST STAND with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Johnny Knoxville, Forest Whitaker. The leader of a drug cartel busts out of a courthouse and speeds to the Mexican border, where the only thing in his path is a sheriff and his inexperienced staff.

HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS (3D) with Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, Peter Stormare.  In this dark spin on the fairy tale, siblings Hansel and Gretel are a formidable team of bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world.

MOVIE 43 with Emma Stone, Gerard Butler, Richard Gere. An ensemble comedy intertwining different tales.

PARKER with Jason Statham, Jennifer Lopez, Michael Chiklis. A thief with a unique code of professional ethics is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead. Assuming a new disguise and forming an unlikely alliance with a woman on the inside, he looks to hijack the score of the crew’s latest heist.

Opening Friday, Feb. 1

BULLET TO THE HEAD with Sylvester Stallone, Jason Momoa, Christian Slater. After watching their respective partners die, a cop and a hitman form an alliance in order to bring down their common enemy.

WARM BODIES with Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, John Malkovich.  After a zombie becomes involved with the girlfriend of one of his victims, their romance sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.

STAND UP GUYS with AL Pacino, Alan Arkin, Christopher Walken. A pair of aging con men try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment — to kill his comrade.

IDENTITY THIEF with Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy, John Cho. When a mild-mannered businessman learns his identity has been stolen, he hits the road in an attempt to foil the thief — a trip that puts him in the path of a deceptively harmless-looking woman.

SIDE EFFECTS with Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Jude Law. A woman turns to prescription medication as a way of handling her anxiety concerning her husband’s upcoming release from prison.

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES with Alice Englert, Viola Davis, Emma Thompson. Ethan longs to escape his small Southern town. He meets a mysterious new girl, Lena. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.

Opening Thursday, Feb. 14

SAFE HAVEN with Josh Duhamel, Julianne Hough, Cobie Smulders. A young woman with a mysterious past lands in Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her.

ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH (3D) with voices of Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker, James Gandolfini. Astronaut Scorch Supernova finds himself caught in a trap when he responds to an SOS from a notoriously dangerous alien planet.

A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD with Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Mary Elizabeth WInstead. John McClane travels to Russia to help out his seemingly wayward son, Jack, only to discover that Jack is a CIA operative working to prevent a nuclear-weapons heist, causing the father and son to team up against underworld forces.

Opening Friday, Feb. 22

DARK SKIES with Dakota Goyo, Keri Russell, J.K. Simmons. As the Barret family’s peaceful suburban life is rocked by an escalating series of disturbing events, they come to learn that a terrifying and deadly force is after them.

SNITCH with Dwayne Johnson, Nadine Velazquez, John Bernthal.  A father goes undercover for the DEA in order to free his son who was imprisoned after being set up in drug deal.

Opening Friday, March 1

JACK THE GIANT SLAYER (3D and IMAX 3D) with Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor. A modern day fairy tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, as a young farmer leads an expedition into the giants’ kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.

21 AND OVER with Miles Teller, Justin Chon, Jonathan Keltz.  The night before his big medical school exam, a promising student celebrates his 21st birthday with his two best friends.

THE LAST EXORCISM PART II with Ashley Bell, Andrew Sensenig, Judd Lormand. As Nell Sweetzer tries to build a new life after the events of the first movie, the evil force that once possessed her returns with an even more horrific plan.

Opening Friday, March 8

ADMISSION with Tina Fey, Paul Rudd, Michael Sheen.  A Princeton admissions officer who is up for a major promotion takes a professional risk after she meets a college-bound alternative school kid who just might be the son she gave up years ago in a secret adoption.

DEAD MAN DOWN with Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper. In New York City, a crime lord’s right-hand man is seduced by one of his boss’s victims, a woman seeking retribution.

OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL with James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz. A stage magician is hurled into a fantasy world, and must use his wits to stay ahead of three enchantresses who have plans for him.

CARRIE with Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer.  A sheltered high school girl unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers.

THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE with Olivia Wilde, Jim Carrey, Steve Carell.  After breaking up with his longtime stage partner, a famous but jaded Vegas magician fights for relevance when a new, “hip” street magician appears on the scene.

PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS with Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, Brandon T. Jackson. In order to restore their dying safe haven, the son of Poseidon and his friends head into the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece.

Opening Friday, MARCH 22

THE CROODS (3D) with the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone. The world’s first family embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed.  Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures — and their outlook is changed forever.

G.I. JOE: RETALIATION with Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Ray Park. The G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

THE HOST with Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, William Hurt. A parasitic alien soul is injected into the body of Melanie Stryder. Instead of carrying out her race’s mission of taking over the Earth, “Wanda” (as she comes to be called) forms a bond with her host and sets out to aid other free humans.

TYLER PERRY’S TEMPTATION: CONFESSIONS OF A MARRIAGE COUNSELOR with Jurnee Smollett, Vanessa Williams, Brandy Norwood. A marriage counselor’s personal and professional life becomes complicated after she enters into a relationship with one of her clients.

Opening Friday, April 5

THE HEAT with Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy, Kaitlin Olson.  Uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn is paired with testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins in order to take down a ruthless drug lord. The hitch: neither woman has ever had a partner — or a friend for that matter.

JURASSIC PARK 3D with Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum. During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.

ODD THOMAS with Willem Dafoe, Anton Yelchin, Patton Oswalt. In a California desert town, a short-order cook with clairvoyant abilities encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.

OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN with Gerard Butler, Angela Bassett, Morgan Freeman.  A former Secret Service agent works to prevent a terrorist attack on the White House.

Opening Friday, April 12

42 with Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford, Alan Tudyk. The life story of Jackie Robinson and his history-making signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey.

EVIL DEAD with Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas.  Mia, a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror.

SCARY MOVIE 5 with Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Terry Crews. Three dancers — one veteran performer and two upstarts who are also best friends — vie for the lead in a new production from a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed director.

Opening Friday, April 19

OBLIVION (IMAX) with Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough.  A court martial sends a veteran soldier to a distant planet, where he has to destroy the remains of an alien race. The arrival of an unexpected traveler causes him to question what he knows about the planet, his mission, and himself.

THE BIG WEDDING with Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl.  A long-divorced couple fakes being married as their family unites for a wedding.
